News
From the 1st July 2009 Hills Solar's Esteem range is eligible for between 3 to 6 more RECs per system than previously. This is great news for Hills Solar customers and translates into an increased discount on every system.
Electric-boosted systems
We offer the following electric-boosted system configurations:

Note: the standard 3.6kW element requires a 15 amp circuit. If an existing electric-boosted tank is connected to a 10 amp circuit only, the element in the new tank will be replaced with a 1.8kW element.

Retrofit systems
If your existing electric hot water tank is less than four years old, we may be able to retrofit a Hills Solar Esteem Evacuated Tube collector to it and "solarise" your hot water system. Note that this works for immersion tanks only, not heat exchange tanks.
