Kyocera Solar
Photovoltaics Solar Panels
We are proud to offer Kyocera's complete range of the highest quality crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) solar panels for use in grid connected and off grid / remote applications.
Kyocera started manufacturing solar panels in 1975 and we first started selling Kyocera brand panels in 1985.

Superior Technology
Today, Kyocera’s KD Series Solar Panels lead the market. The KD Series:
- Are the highest performance panels on the market with a maximum cell conversion efficiency of 17.5%
- Have the largest cell size available (156mm x 156mm) ensuring that a minimal number of cells are used per panel for the highest power output and improved longevity,
- Are manufactured completely "in-house" by Kyocera with zero outsourcing (ie. Kyocera makes their own photovoltaic cells, they do not buy them from a third party). This makes Kyocera the world’s largest vertically integrated solar power company,
- Utilise just one multi-crystal cell type across the entire range offering the same high efficiency cells from their largest to their smallest panels unlike every other manufacturer,
Kyocera's MyGen Home Power Systems include all the components required to power your home or office with clean solar energy.
MyGen Home Power Systems generate mains compatible, 240V AC electricity. During the day this can be used to power your house, with any excess power fed into the grid. At night you simply draw this energy back from the grid.
Instead of relying on a single standard panel size as most suppliers do, Kyocera MyGen systems utilise three panel configurations for optimal flexibility in meeting your solar power needs.
| Panel | Max Power | Cell Size | Length | Width | Weight |
| KD135GH | 135W | 156mm x 156mm | 1500mm | 668mm | 13kg |
| KD185GH | 185W | 156mm x 156mm | 1338mm | 990mm | 16kg |
| KD205GH | 210W | 156mm x 156mm | 1500mm | 990mm | 18.5kg |
Unlike some inferior grade panels, our crystalline silicon PV panels are manufactured responsibly and all silicon tetrachloride, the byproduct of polysilicon production, is completely recycled.
